Choice

Our training sessions are designed to give your dog as much independence and choice as possible (within reason, of course!). By allowing your dog to make decisions, we help build their confidence, reduce stress, and enhance the connection between you and your dog, creating a more rewarding experience for both guardian and canine.

Connection

We take the time to build a strong bond with both you and your dog, earning trust through understanding and connection. By recognising your dog's unique quirks, personality, and perspective, we tailor each session to their individual needs, creating a positive experience.

Compassion

We are dedicated to treating both you and your dog with empathy and kindness, meeting you where you are and supporting you both. By understanding and valuing you and your dog as individuals we create a compassionate and tailored experience that builds trust, strengthens bonds, and fosters meaningful experiences for you both.

Frequently Asked Questions

What training methods do you use?

All training is force-free and ACE-informed, focusing on, understanding your dog, choice and connection and building skills that help dogs succeed in real-life situations.

We do not use corrective or punitive equipment or intimidation.

What does ACE-informed mean?

ACE (Animal Centred Education) focuses on creating safe, supportive environments where dogs can learn through exploration, choice and connection with you.

Do you use punishment-based equiptment?

No. We do not use corrective equipment such as prong collars, slip leads, or other aversive tools.

If you are currently using these, don’t worry. We can help you transition to more supportive training methods that still work towards your goals.

How long will it take?

We do not offer quick fixes or fixed timescales.

Every dog and guardian partnership is different, so progress varies. Training moves at a pace that supports both you and your dog, and depends largely on the practice carried out between sessions.

We may suggest a specific training package that we think is best suited to you, your dog, and your goals.

Do you garuntee results?

We cannot guarantee specific results.

Progress depends on many factors, including your dog, your goals, and how consistently training is practised between sessions.

Will you train my dog for me?

No. We teach you how to train your dog.

Most progress happens through the practice you do between sessions, supported by the guidance and aftercare you receive from us.

What are your cancellations and session policies?

Sessions require at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be charged in full.

Training packages must be used within three months of the first session. Sessions that are not used within this timeframe expire. It is the client’s responsibility to book their sessions within the validity period.
